PS, if you're not careful, they'll take 20th too! Step on it! :-p
What did I tell you! This one even runs nicely! Instant start, nice sound, mint.

Congratulations again, boys! :-)

EDIT: Title corrected.

Fred.

PS, this was last night, not today. So 6th of May 2013 for #20 :-)

Some photos from this facebook album, if you can't see them, complain and I'll update the links, if you use facebook, get on there and spice the place up with some comments! :-p

Title: "FreeEMS Engine #20 On The Dyno!"
Comment: "Excuse the quality of the pictures, I had to censor them and grab them from video frames..."

What a lovely smile he has!

Cheeky bugger!

Zoomed in!

EMStudio in action on the dyno! Big screen sure helps here. They didn't have time to configure the gauges to be smaller.

I consider the above conclusive evidence that engine 20 is in fact real! :-)

This thread REALLY deserves a LOT more information, an entire fleet of threads, a part in the history books of the project, and a lot of great media posted right here. So, I proudly present, a very sweet video which you'll have to go through twitter to get to, of this car, doing nuts in various places (Sweden, England, Finland): https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 2457837568

I'll be unhiding various threads that I wrote or partially wrote at the time about this endeavour. I learned a lot helping these guys achieve their lofty goals, and reconfirmed a bunch of other stuff, but most importantly, I had a great time and made some great friends.

This car was briefly superseded by the ER14 engine, but then they canned FreeEMS and went to a Swedish Nira ECU for better or more likely worse. The newer engine thread is here, for reference: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=2445 The vast majority of Swedish FreeEMSing happened with this car, ER13, and the great team, especially Jonas Bromo whose face was blurred out above :-)

WATCH THE VIDEO! :-D
