First drive today happened, had to increase injector dead time a tad and VE, but so far good.
Then I found out when I got back into the car later my saved times weren't there so I had to do it again and hit save to flash.
I've already ran into boost with my car for sure, needs tuning.
And set around and idle with lights on\heater on max and off to watch fuel change and effect IDT changes to compenstate until it was around a steady transistion that it was close to the same values.

What I've noticed so far is the on \ off throttle transitional repsonce is good out of the box.

EMstudio "NEEDS" mass selection of cells and input one value. When you are tuning by yourself on the road its a lot esier to select a bunch of cells in one areas intiall and set a value to get it in the ball then go over the data log and check it out. Its a lot harder to select one cell and the next cell. This is something that it needs to have priority for any proper tuning, esp inital tuning.

Fred you might as well put this in the list of daily drivers, the MS2 unit isn't going back into it.

Updated! viewtopic.php?f=55&t=1838 :-)

Keen to get your data into the system, and work with you to get the decoder perfect. Right now your timing is likely a bit wobbly. It may be OK, if so, up to you, but, it may not be, if not, let's sort it out this weekend.

Yes I will get you the data tomorrow, forgot to do it properly today. Yeah I need to recheck timing again
Also I installed the next firmware and got it running on the LS coils, so I immeidatly turned the car off and pulled the coils out and reconnected the stock iginitor and coils, works with the stock miata iginitor and coils as well currently, thats how I drove it around, on stock iginitor and coils.

No rush on data.

The issue for that is here: http://issues.freeems.org/view.php?id=600

I'm going to see about getting it in 0.0.1 instead of just "ASAP".

I plan to go and get another stock ecu from the pick and pull Friday possibily. Been cold lately so getting cold starts has been a good challenge.

Ask Mike or Andy how to tune your priming pulse curve in emstud. EDIT: it's normal, isn't it... nevermind... but: temp enrich curve should be obvious. default priming is utterly random, no data/experience backing it.

Good to hear :-) Decoder is good for it, even if other stuff isn't :-)
