Need to do the mod on the jag to make sure the timing is staying correct. It skipped my mind but I just remembered I still have the j&s attached. I plan to bypass it tomorrow and see if it is that effecting reving up since I see no data on the logs showing breakup from the CAS. IIRC when I used it on the ms2extra setup I had to tune down the dwell from 5ms to 3ms or else it would pull timing out and hit a wall. I suspect its doing the same thing again.

This was indeed the issue, I took the dwell down to 3ms and I was able to rev up properly and hit off the rev limiter.

Another issue is upon restarting hot, say 5 - 10 minutes after turning the car off the car runs lean for a while.

(20:28:50) Fred: LOL
(20:28:54) Fred: and you expect what?
(20:28:55) Fred: magic?

I think the hot lean restart was caused a lot by those old rx7 injectors, I have not noticed the issue as nearly as bad with my id1000's.

Also can't wait to get my jag a7
gonna be fully populated in inputs

Hentai, this is done except for:
  • IAT and CHT, I need to know the bias resistor values on your Jaguar.
  • Scheduling pin out, I need to know if you've jumpered any FETs or not. If so, which to which CPU pins, if not, I can tell you what to do to match what I already did (same setup as previous Jaguar)
And not doing these right now:
  • Load type for Lambda, default for now. Will split out and let you do crazy stuff soon.
  • Cam sync/sequential, this has to wait for some refactoring and new functionality, no big deal.
  • Proper characterisation of the low pulse width regions, this needs new features, later. Should be good enough for government work as is.
What I did:
  • Researched new data for GM 3 bar and ID1000 (full curve generated!) and added to base firmware
  • Changed decoder from 4/2 to 12-1
  • Changed injector flow from 540 to 1015 cc/min
  • Changed scheduling to be correct for crank sync decoder
  • Configured 3 bar MAP for your car
  • Added a stanza to IAT for your GM sensor
  • Configured ID1000 dead time curve for your car
Let me know when you suss out those two final points, and I'll update and provide a binary.
