Test CHT and TPS

Solder test wire

I don't know how to Calibrate TPS, maybe more reading on src will help
Image

Give my injector a test, 110g/min, very small flow
Image

My stimulator generate 60-2 pattern
Image

Works as expected

My hardware share the OEM harness, give me a good starting point. the right hand side is the OEM ECU
Image

I will install it on my Citroen ZX this week, doing both fuel and ignition

HotCat! I have things to type here, but I've not found time to type them. Please set rev limit(s) to 2500 though, more isn't safe. TPS calibration doesn't matter, but BRV kinda does, fine tune that before you do any tuning. BRV adjustment @ bottom of post viewtopic.php?p=18881#p18881

Importantly: GOOD LUCK! :-)

My dwell calibrated

Post by HotCat »

I have no concept about my ignition coil, so I stimulate my stock ECU to get that value, and the result is approximate 3.5ms
Image
this is how it was
Image
I didn't quit believe that, so I use a timing light, and it said 16 degree
Image
My equus timing light is easy to use, but for wasted spark, the dwell angle display is wrong
Image
I still can not trust them, so I bought a current clamp. This time I believe this coil is charging fast
Image
So I program this value into firmware
Image
And I got the expected result

Good progress! 3.5ms is about right, very very normal. Read this: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=48

16 btdc sounds about right too.

Keep it up!

Fred.

PS, people in London and Spain live in tiny concrete boxes too, you're not alone on that front. The yanks, Canadians, us Kiwis, and above all, the Ozzies, have it very very good.
