Prepare two fire extinguishers in case of emergence
Image

Need to modify my injectors harness to do semi-sequential injection
Image

here is how I do this
Image

I found a nice place to do this job
Image

clamp the endpoint
Image

build my own adapter to switch from batch to semi-sequential
Image

Test the adapter
Image

2#/3# cylinder injectors' ground go to FreeEMS hardware directly
Image

Build two ground for onboard igniters and all lowsides
Image

Extend my vacuum line with a oil filter
Image

Wire up the ECU, it sits right under my stock harness socket, save me a lot of wiring effort
Image

Connect com port and here we go

The leds onboard is very useful

Because of cold start situation, I crank the engine, but no respond. I crank again, the engine fired but die immediately. I wait for 2 minus and fire it again, this time the engine start to roll and idle at 1300 RPM. A few minus, it rised to 1700 RPM. I shut it down and recrank it, this time the engine start rather happly. I think I need to tune the cold start enrichment

Here's the Engine parameters

I'll upload my video latter, poor quality, I should find another day to reproduce the video

Recently I was reading Fred's thread <being a good down-stream author!>, I want to contribute my code back. Fire up the engine was the first step, still have a long journey to travel with Fred. In China, a lot of guy want to try FreeEMS powered Citroen ZX as well as Buick Regal/Century, you know how responsible I feel

HotCat, also see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1683

And another yet to be released thread specifically about firmware contributions and how to make sure that they're good enough to get in.

We should talk about this soon, I'll be in touch.
