Yeah, that's old and won't work well or at all.

Whether or not you need a USBDM for MS2 depends on what boot loader the board contains. IIRC we were testing with a stock one. But I/we built a non-stock one as there wasn't source available for doing it from scratch. Not too long after that they put in something to validate that the boot loader was not the one I built or something like that. Just horrible behaviour for anyone trying to use the thing on their own vehicle and repair it.

I had forgotten about the Ruzki board! I can't remember enough to help you right now. I thought it had some issues, but perhaps not. Ruzki himself could comment if he's still around (unlikely to see this without prompting).

I see in m$ 3 (4g63 decoder) they use only 8 point for 720 calculation, while yours is 12 point. My logical thinking, more point is more resolution. Right??

Yeah, that code of theirs is provably broken. I wouldn't trust it. The different bits are used for different reasons, though. Not just more resolution. :-)

Apologies, it seems I replied to your post without authorising it. You shouldn't need more authorisation now anyway.

I have bare A7 boards, but soldering the Freescale chip in place is no small feat. If there’s even the slightest chance you’ll hit a brick wall at such an early stage, you might want to consider buying a partial build from the designer, DeuceEFI (coolefi.com).

Bare board requires BDM, too. Also, Andy has the V2 basic ECU which might suit, but isn't DIY or FOSS. Could be an option.

Glad you're eager, with the latest/greatest firmware (under limited release to testers) the precision of some of the numbers is second to none. More improvements to come! :-)

I got BDM from aliexpress. Not sure how to use, I just order it first.
Any link to Jaguar A7 BOM list? I could not find it https://github.com/DeuceEFI/Jaguar/tree/master/docs
