Hello All,
My name Is John and I am an engineer with the non-free AFR Gauge and ECU company AEM. (but don't hold that against me. )
I have been doing engine electronics seemingly forever and have been racing for the last 20+ years. Used to work for Honda doing IndyCar stuff back in the 90's when it was interesting. Been at AEM for almost 15 years now from right around the start of the electronics division to the present day. Currently run a 1000 hp, 2JZ powered 1929 Ford Roadster at Bonneville. My best speed is 224 mph but the car has run 238 mph.
I am not here to rep AEM or sell stuff, I'm here on my own. But if someone has a legitimate question about AEM stuff like why something is one way and not another, I will do my best to answer it. If I cant i'll say so. (I am also not here for tech support, call the 800 number for that).
Introductions!

Re: Introductions!
Hey John, great first post! :-)
Sorry for the lag authorising your post, it's been a hectic week for me.
Do you have a thread on another forum about your '29 roadster? Sounds neat!
Fred.

Hola a Galicia! My wife's cousins live near you, as does another FreeEMSer called Aitor.
I'm guessing that your name is a Galego variant of Javier?
Welcome, anyway! :-)

Try this thread: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2457 There are options to buy just "la placa" or more. You might want to find a friendly American to blatantly lie on the package, too. SMD-only option might be best for you?necesito información para poder comprar sus kits. o los elementos necesarios
Yes, I know! You're not alone, though. Many countries have such an attitude to goods. And it's not a realistic one in these times when the diversity of products from one's home country will never align with the globally available product. In fact, this is always true for every subset of a whole.lamentablemente mi país tiene muchas restricciones de aduana. pero algunas cosas puedo comprar

No need to thank for this, everyone's welcome here until they prove that they're not! :-)

Re: Introductions!
Hello,
My name is Victor. I worked as an Electrical Engineer, enjoy coding and messing with my car.
I want to get a better understanding of FreeEms before I pull the trigger and try to put it on my car or bike.
I thought I'd start by getting a build environment set up and looking through the code to familiarize myself with its operation. If there are any beginner-friendly tasks to be done, I think that would help as well.
Also, I am quite confused about what the current hardware implementation is.
I'll post in the appropriate board once I get a little more familiar with the project.
Thanks, Victor.
