Yes, that's the correct part. Looks like the price has come back down - was up for a while. That's good.

BTW I also got Coolefi Sportster, and I jumper all IO to Speeduino board. Looks little bit mess, but it work. Any chance using Freems2 on it?

Only by doing a lot of work on that code base, probably.

I hope i've found the right place after weeks of searching??

I am planning to fit a Jaguar 2.0L Turbo diesel (Ford Mondeo/Puma) with the Delphi injection system, into a vintage Bedford CF. I have a heavy background in electronics and precision engineering, but no software skills.

Have I arrived at a place where i 'could' get some help?
I started with absolutely nothing and still have most of it left

Quite possibly, but diesels are tricky beasts to run. There's a commercial product made by a forum member that might interest you if you're not fully stuck on the idea of open sauce software.

I see in Aliexpress/Ebay those mcu are much cheaper, and seller is in China. Why? Any possibility of fake mcu?

Probably fake - I wouldn't trust my engine to those.
