Assuming I've built it correctly.... which assumes much :( lol.

Yep, switched to 1A supply (next option) and she read 4.99V so very pleased.
Best to check things first, don't want to throw more possible current at a short! lol.

It makes the short easy to find. Plus a first degree burn in most cases. :-) Or even better, magic smoke.
