After some reading, the speed increase really seems to be due to less code and references to the variable "self". So I think coroutines are more for code simplicities sake than anything else.

Once I have the more important stuff on the list done and some decent test coverage I'll get heavily into performance tuning, don't you worry :)

Did you ever get to creating a datalog status packet? So I can check whether datalogging is enabled or not?

Did we settling on payload 00 for status, 01 for start, 02 for off? I can't remember or find any posts on the forum/issue tracker

It was supposed to be something like that, but I can't remember either. I'll have to look next time I get a chance. I have about 15 diyefi tabs open right now that need attention... and no time to give it :-(

All data is assumed to be an unsigned int, is displayed raw and unprocessed (except for averaging the two values received).
How much hassle is it to bang in some scales and offsets and units somehow? even if hard coded for now?

You're a hero btw, keep it up, hopefully I can do my part soon and really get the ball rolling :-)

I took time off to prep the car for a race, and then things with the engine went downhill quickly after that. It being my daily driver means it's been a priority. It's been many months, but the end seems near. I fully plan on getting back into the fold here when the timing is right. Aaron, I'll let you know when that is, and I'll need some direction again in getting up to date with the code base.

Cheers!

Does this push work, or will I hook it up and get no connection again? :-) Just teasing you, but serious question too.
