Cool :-)

DIYEFI should be upper case if you are using that at all. I would prefer the official one didn't have diy efi in it though, as this will just be a parent project at some point. Somewhere for lots of ideas to come together and mingle :-)

Love the intel one!

I'm not much of a designer, but I thought the logo should be easy to make with a plotter.

Made one from the recent intel logo too ;)

Concept: FreeEMS is what makes "it" happen, it controls the process to create energy by combining each element of this process. So I've used "free" and "ems" to represent parts of this process, the junction of the two to represent the combination of elements in the process, and the sparks at the junction to represent the energy. Colors follow the DIY logo and are engine/auto/combustion oriented. Type is modern - tech appropriate. I think the references to the Intel logo are appropriate in the fact that this logo needs to be serious as in professional appearing. Thoughts? -rob 8-)

I like it :-)

When I typed to you on AIM "it should be like this: FreeEMS" what I was trying (and failing) to convey was that I thought it should be a single word with the same case, ie, lower ree and upper the rest.

I do like it though. Keen to hear what others think too. Post your thoughts people (all two of you reading this thread lol)

Thanks, now go tend those kids and stop them destroying your lounge ;-)

ok - here's some more based on comments... I think the bottom logo does it all - gets the name in a straight line, fully integrated and keeps with my original concept.

+1 for Robs first logo, where the words are on two lines. Having it "FreeEMS" instead of "freeems" would be nice, but considering that awesome logo, I think "freeems" would be fine too :)
The two sparks more look like a bang, as in combustion.
The top spark on the latest logos doesn't convey that meaning as strongly, it looks more like a rising sun or so, dunno :)

I liked the staggered one. Maybe with a capital E in EMS?
