I am new here, so a short introduction from my side:
Name: Ben
Age: 38
Location: The netherlands
Gender: Male
I am building a bike from ground up (Suzuki TL1000R) but I also want to have it run on an own made
ECU. I have already been watching the MegaSquirt, but somehow I think I am better off here.
I also want to build the hardware myself and code the software. As an Software Engineer (specialist) and
Electronic Engineer (medior). I hope this can be done here?
If anyone has some suggestions, pleasy reply.
New and some Questions
Re: New and some Questions
Hi Ben! Welcome to the forum :-)
I de-noobed you, so your future posts won't be held back.
You've certainly come for the right place to hack on your own EMS hardware/software :-)
Fred.

Re: New and some Questions
Is there something I can read to understand how to connect to:
- RPM pickup
- Sensors (temp/clutch/etc..)
- Injectors
- Ignition
My engine is an:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_TL1000R
I want to build the engine on a motor stand. Then build the Free EMS unit and try to make the engine work/run
with Free EMS. I hope I can manage this to get it all working. That really would be a highpoint for me!

I will find a developmentboard (same as MrOnion) with an MC9S12XDP512 [CardS12.XDP5]
And I will try to read the schematics.
