Something I haven't seen mentioned on the forum: FreeEMS + Pulse Jet. Thoughts?

You could use it like that with some sort of fake decoder module and custom algorithm and either an air speed sensor or a MAF in front I suppose :-)
Then you could tune the mixture for best effect/resonance.
Ignition wise it'd be more like a bbq starter mechanism, no need for timed/continuous ignition in those.
