Needs a toothless Fred smoking a cigar, holding a shotgun and drinking some bad American whiskey (with the e) on the porch. No, not quite. Two in the garage, one in the drive, and 4 on the street, currently. Soon to be reduced to 3 on the street.

A few more, now the ignition one is in my hands, too.

All up, 4 fuel and 4 ignition for just two cars. Factory ones can remain unharmed and sit on a shelf :-)

Fred.

The other night I took a photo of this Lantis ECU in its natural home: https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 0786345984

More progress tonight. 13B Matt was around playing with his Jaguar setup and preparing it for barp barp barp seals rotary action. So I hacked on the LH2.4 stuff :-)

Connector removed and ready for reuse: https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 8732030976
Bosch's Spain branch forgot to finish the box: https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 2658516992
Jaguar with heaps of room to play with: https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 1624738816

EDIT: 3.1mm is the diameter of the rivets that held the connector and heatsink to the PCB. M3 screws would be a good replacement, or a pop rivet, perhaps. Factory ones were, of course, pressed into place.

Matthijs309: Link the pics of your Jaguar holding device? And if you recall where, link Rob's Jaguar holding device? I will need something similar for this setup.

Ignition box hacking next week. Busy week this week with work, hospital visits, Volvo parts obtaining, Millenia parts stripping, garage cleaning, etc.

Got the EZK connector out and ready to reuse!

EZK boards out flat: https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 6461597697
EZK connector out: https://twitter.com/FredCookeNZ/status/ ... 3109235712

1 week until I have to be packed and ready to roll. Lots to do, but I wonder if I can get enough done to take a FreeEMS board with me and get the 240 running while on holiday? Unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

Fred.

Lies! Rush, now. Ignition system is dodgy, and no cash to spend on fixing it as is = FreeEMS to the rescue, make wasted sparks instead, steal coils/leads from KP60 for a while. Been street legal for a while, too.
