Following several months of negotiations with DIYAutoTune we've finally struck a deal and agreed to move forward with our plans. I've sold the rights to the FreeEMS code base to them for a fairly hefty sum, and it will from now on be known as MegaSquirt4. MegaSquirt4 supersedes the current MS3 line of products which many felt were ill conceived and poorly thought out.

I apologise to everyone who has backed me over the years. Things had simply gotten to be too much and I couldn't carry on in the current financial climate as I was. Something had to change, and this is how it has had to go. I understand that many of you will be angry about this change in direction, however there really was nothing further I could have done. Sorry again.

There are likely to be a few broken links and so forth over the coming days. Please be patient as we restructure the web presence of this project and apply the new licensing to it.

Congratulations Fred. I am sure this wasn't an easy decision for you, but we all know the quality of MS code has long been a concern of yours and this is a great way to alleviate that. I am sure you are looking forward to working alongside and learning from some of the greatest minds of the DIY EFI community. I wish you well in your newfound wealth.

Total bullshit. What a sellout. Next you're going to say that the Libre fork was an orchestrated event "to give back to the community" before selling your soul. I'd have thought you'd at least have said something to those of us who stuck through thick and thin. What does this mean for Jaguar development? Is that being absorbed too? I know EMStudio already had some MS leanings. Going to go get drunk now.

Nice one though. Had me for exactly 1.2 seconds until I looked at the date.

My MS4 has noise issues. Is this my fault? Please help.
