Re: Project FreeEMS Powered WikiSpeed! COMMENTS
Somebody locked the thread so that I couldn't secretly add documentation. So if anyone else wants to use a 2006 Honda Civic accelerator pedal position sensor, here's some more info. From the firewall side the wire colors are Yellow, Blue, Brown, Purple, Baby Blue, and Grey. The functions from the firewall side are 0-5V output, GND, 5V, 0-5V output, GND, 5V. The yellow output goes from about 1.3V to 4.97, and the purple output goes from about 0.65 to 2.48V. So hopefully this helps somebody, even if it's just a lowly google user. Or maybe this info could help you win one of the $1000 wikispeed challenges. http://wikispeed.org/wikispeedlet-5000-challenge/

Having done almost exactly that before on a Ford Escape, that's a terrible idea, and totally the wrong way to go about doing such a thing.
