0.2.0 Release Party Planning

Post by Fred »

All parties require good planning to be an absolute success. This one, though, will require truly excellent planning. It'll span all time zones, and be distributed around the globe. With some luck there will be a small gathering of people somewhere to celebrate together that I can connect to with skype. That'd be good.

Additionally, the refreshments need to be right. I'm thinking of picking up a little treat as a reward when it finally emerges as a downloadable S19 file set. Make sure things are in order at your end on this front, too.

In terms of music, personal taste will have to take precedence as a globally syncrhonised play list would be just a ilttle too much effort to implement IMO.

Thoughts?

Fred.

How many FreeEMSers with running engines are able to update their firmware for some organized hot throttle action on video? Those of us with only circuit boards can still run the firmware with on-screen output in unison. Midnight GMT following the release? Makes me want to work even harder to get something solid running.

Is that beverage lead-free?

Synchronised burnouts seems like a fine idea, BUT, sim may need some lubricational assistance for the snot rocket!
