So Fred, let me know if/what sort of tedious tasks a new members can relieve you guys of, given I haven't got myself any freeEMS hardware yet.

But before you ask, I'm not such a great masseuse...
FreeEMS projects
- None (yet)
Others
- Toyota 1UZ-FE MS2 (twin VR, stepper idle); 1G-GTE MS2 (24/2 VR, stepper idle, boost control), 1G-GTE MS2 (24-1 missing tooth VR, stepper idle, low-Z); 18R-G MS2 (Points triggered); 4AGE 20V MS2 (factory wiring and sensors, 24/2 VR, 3 wire idle); and others...

People who feel helpful and have an install: Use the latest code.

In my temp branches repo is a branch called supposedly.harmless.refactorings which I just ran my car on successfully. I'd like two others to verify this, then I'll push dev to master, and new commits to dev.

Fred.

Deuce, via, sim, you should all be able to help, the latter two, from source branches especially rebased for you.

Hi to all. :) :)
I am trying compile the "freeems-vanilla-master" with eclipse.
I readed this:viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1618

but eclipse say:

"make -f Makefile all
make: *** There is no rule to build the target `all'. Alto."

Can any help me please? :indiff:

Things have changed a great deal since those days. Top level makefile has special targets in it. The main makefile is in src/main now.

Also, please be aware that the latest code is not currently published. Play around with the old public code, but if you are actually planning to run something, consult heavily with us so we can prevent any pain if support for your setup is limited or whatever.

Best bet: start a thread on your target vehicle in users rides :-)
