Are you using usb as a virtual com port or do you have a serial adapter on one of the usart's? I got the f4discovery a few days ago and having a play with it now.

I have one of these $5 usart adapters, they are sweet because terminal stays connected while you are reflashing or resetting the board.

I've also tried usb as virtual port but I did not like it because of the necessity to re-plug the cable every time I flash or restart. It takes USB some time to connect or whatever and you do not really know when you can start sending data out. Bottom line - an adapter is way easier.

I am now moving from MAF sensor to MAP sensor - so, I've driven the car a bit to create a base map. Surprise-surprise: look how linear the "stock" MAP map is:

I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't see you make any turns to complete a block lap, just drive straight for 100 yards, then stall twice. Sounds pretty good, though. Amazing what can be done with almost no code, isn't it :-)

BTW, I saw your inaccurate critique of FreeEMS on your forum and no I won't ban you for having such an opinion. I won't bother correcting you over there (or here) either. I have not banned anyone yet, and those who end up being "disciplined" are usually being disruptive or damaging or down right mean to others. You don't fit those categories, so far.

On this video, I have killed it twice - please take my word on that. But this is a good point that this makes a bad impression, I will re-shoot the video a bit later today.

Just a quick update: my ECU now has fuel pump relay control and this makes it a true standalone
