Is the board sized for a particular case? I had a lot of people whining on my board about there not being a case, I could have added a 1/4" strip on one side and it'd have made a lot of folks happier.
Its the size of a regular hard disk, I hope to find some metal enclosures that could fit nice. If not, I'll see what can I get. I didn't do heavy thoughts about enclosures, to be honest.

Perhaps that can be a good task for one of the forum members. We have a width, and such. Finding a case that doesn't require machining would be nice. I know there are several extruded cases out there, can one be found that fits well.

Keep in mind it will need fairly extensive heatsinking in a full on implementation.

I'd consider making my own from two strip heatsinks and some alloy plate for top and bottom and ends.

Can we move discussion on cases to either the design thread or, even better, a brand new cases thread in the hw section linked to from here, and the design thread:

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=884

Same goes for any other details, let's keep this one to just ordering/shipping/payment stuff if we can. It's going to be a big thread anyway.

We already have two people wanting spares! I've started listing them in the first post below those that made it in on time.

If you want to pull out, post away, if you also want a spare, also post away.

I'll be relinquishing my reserved unit. I don't have the cash right now to be able to get it to a working board status, so someone else can take my spot.
