You don't want a socket for a QFP112:

Looks like a socket to me! :-p (I meant the term generally, as in, something you can put a chip in, and I knew they were expensive and not just holes in a board... :-p)
Plus, making the mcu pass through Argentina only to put some bytes in it doesn't have much sense (importation taxes, shipments, etc).
OK, different issue. CPUs to the US then, and posted from there, or something.

We'll be fine with a BDM pod per builder
Again, let people decide on that themselves.

True for both, certified or not postage, and SM loading.

For SM loading I suggest asking me if I can load it. I'd say "no problem, gimme some extra days".
2) What? Really? Not even to non northern parts? Weird...
I can only send to Europe. Its quite stupid.

Nevertheless (do I use this fancy word correctly?), I hope the situation will be over by the time I get the PCBs

Well, the PCBs has been made and I have a FedEx tracking number. They are in SHIJIAZHUANG CN right now :-)

Fortunately, fedex doesn't care about climatic adversities.

To be clear, I wasn't suggesting that you're obligated to do it, just that some people may like someone else to do it for them, such as Abe or SeanS in the US, Me here, etc.

Yes, and the climatic adversities was rather well put also, old chap! :-)

Boards are here!

Those that have access to a BDM or are willing to try to make or get one, please get your address to Marcos and myself so we can have the boards shipped ASAP. Marcos will give you a price, you can then meet (or exceed it as a donation depending upon how you feel) and he will then ship soon afterwards.

Given the minimal cost of shipping and my absolute lack of time to achieve my goals, I think the kiwi ones can go out to each person individually. I'll take those for my direct friends, mops, em_knaps, craig, phr34kr and any other aucklanders that want me to receive for them. Those out of (this) town, please provide address details to Marcos and I so yours can be shipped OR request a price on preprogrammed CPU + basics attached instead.

Please EVERYONE register what you want to receive in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1017

EVERYONE is also required to spec their build in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=988

EVERYONE is also required to private message BOTH Marcos/nitrousnrg and I/Fred with your address details.

He will then get a price to you based on what you say in the first thread above, and tell you his paypal. You can then pay him. Then he will send your stuff.

Come on people, let's get the show on the road please!
