boostedcabbage's 1998 Dodge Neon

Post by boostedcabbage »

I picked this up the other day. Motor is popped and the extent of the damage is unknown yet. The plan is to drop in my other built motor from the white Neon.

More details and updates coming soon.

What's all that white shit on the ground? You should really clean that up.

Made a little progress today. Pulled the engine.

The intercooler and piping had probably a half quart of oil in them :)

Next step is to clean up the engine bay in preparation for the other engine.

No wheels, axles, ball joints. No problem. Tractor ftw.

Cleaned the engine bay a bit with a pressure washer.

Still needs a heavy degreasing, but much better than it was.

Short block almost installed. Left motor mount is toast. (Going to fill it)
Needs a cleaning. Been sitting outside all winter with duct tape over the deck :)

Trans and new clutch install coming soon.
