I have a 95 Neon that should be running FreeEMS shortly.

Current setup is as follows:

Stock SOHC engine
ClutchNet sprung 6 puck, Audi pressure plate
Custom short shifter

I'm still finishing the FreeEMS board assembly, but I'd like to run sequential fuel with wasted spark using LS1 coils.

Plans for the future aren't finalized, but involve boost.

My crank and cam signals:

Both sensors are hall effect and operate at 5v. (Stock the crank sensor operates at 8v, but it works fine at 5v)

ECT and IAT are both GM sensors. Closed and open element respectively. (I've installed 2.7k bias resistors on the Jaguar 0.7 board)
TPS is 0-5v
WBO2 is an AEM for now with 0-5v output.

Stock injectors are 19lb (~200cc) (Using 1 injector per cylinder) (Using these for now to get it running well)
Actual engine displacement is 1996cc.
Firing order is 1-3-4-2.
I'd like an ignition cut rev limiter set at 7k for now.
My MAP is 400kpa, so that will have to be accounted for.

Re your limiter, how tight of a hysteresis would you like? 200 is a high OEM-like number, 100 is pretty normal, 50 is tight and makes a crap engine sound like a sport bike :-D

50 sounds fun for the rev limiter :) Are there any downsides to having it so tight?

You can run up against it whilst in gear without realising it? It's a lot nicer to hit when you're mid corner, for example. No spinning off under sudden effective lift off. But also no feedback to the driver that they've hit it. You could run down to 0.5 RPM hysteresis if you wanted. In this case you'd miss random amounts of spark from random cylinders fairly evenly over time and sit bang on the target (or noise-level below it).

0.5 would probably sound crackly and stable
50 sounds like a sport bike due to the frequency of rehitting it
200 sounds OEM and lazy

Sort of an update...

Relocating the battery to inside the front bumper. (With the smallest one I can find with enough CCA)
Moving PDC box tucked into the right side of the bay. (Zip tie is temporary)
(For the purpose of making room for intercooler piping)

I'm going to remove the EGR, evap crap, reroute the harness, brake booster line, loop the heater core lines, etc and mount my coil setup on the right side of the valve cover right near the cam sensor.

That intake manifold and throttle body orientation won't be there long either.. Working on a new intake manifold.

Partial update:

I've removed my engine harness to build the new one when I get a few packages.

Cleaned up some other crap.. Evap, EGT, etc is almost gone. Threw a snail back there for fun. Good luck stock engine. It's a 50 trim 0.63 A/R

Got my coil setup pretty much done. Need to make a bracket and get wire separators still.
