Fresh WOF yesterday, so I can use it over summer! :-D
Also replaced one of the headlights the other day, and will do the second one soonish. Vast difference.
And was hauling some wheels/tyres around yesterday in it.

The ignition miss on this got so bad that it was getting difficult to drive. So I had a crack at insulating the exterior of the coil to prevent arcing. When reviewing in the dark to see if it worked, the answer was: No. And when looking around the engine bay, holy shit, arcing the entire length of the leads. I see.
New leads, better/more correct lengths. New plugs, correct heat range (was running cold 7 NGKs and is now running correct hotter 6 v-groove NGKs). Totally transformed.
Drove it around all day today, love it! :-)
However:
Rear clunk has been getting worse. So I'll need to look into that before too long.
Car also has a bit of wander to it, like toe out, or low tyre pressure. I suspect the diff is floating around in the back of the car like it's luggage in a slalom. Time will tell.

Glad to see that this ignition miss trouble wasn't code related, but "arcing the entire length"! Excellent it's worked out and showing vast improvement.

Still not a fan of the Bosch code that runs this thing, but all in good time! :-)
