Hello,
yet i'm running a Link G3, and wanted to switch to some "free" EMS, and then found FreeEMS
Think could extract most sensor calibrations from the Link G3.
Few Facts i know about the engine System:
-Denso CAS VR Sensor
-Yet running Distributor, wanted later COP best with full seq.
-Yet running on Map/Butterfly sensor
-on stock EMS running Injector full seq., on the Link G3 not
Would run it with E85, to get better temp, more boost
So i think, i need the Jaguar Option #2 +3/4Injector Drivers.
-Is there option for 3 extra Ingnition Drivers?
-Need i extra hardware for the Denso CAS 24-2 "VR" Sensor, there is a Articel about this system search for ("MS2-Extra 24 Toothed Distributor Manual")? Is the FreeEMS yet able to read this sensor?
Greetings Michael

A Jaguar suits any 4 cylinder engine very nicely, there are 4 ignition drivers and 11 FET outputs for relays, injectors and solenoids.
There is nothing special about the Denso 24/2 dissy, it is supported by both Jaguar and the firmware.
You can have your sequential + dizzy, or sequential + wasted spark (recommended) with FreeEMS at this time, and later, you can have COP + Sequential too.
E85 really requires a special sensor and a new piece of code, so I wouldn't recommend it for the time being. The reason is that the 85 in E85 is a lie, it should be called Eupto85 instead ;-)

Re: 1994 Rev3 Toyota 3sgte
Here it is
Technical Upgrade:
-3" complete Exhaust System
-upgradet intercooler
-540ccm Injectors
-Innovate WB
Think would go this route sequential Injection + dizzy first, and then COP wasted to delete the old dizzy system and get stronger ingnition
What do you mean with Eupto85, no don't want to drive flex fuel sensor yet. And yes i know that there could be some differences from gas station to gas station
So i think i need additional 3 ignitor drivers to option #2 Jaguar, and thats it. Or is there something i did overlook?
Engine Picture coming soon
EDIT: How much Input, analog are there?

Re: 1994 Rev3 Toyota 3sgte
E85 varies from E50 to E85 randomly. It can't be trusted to be one fuel.
Why do you think you need 7 ignition drivers? :-/
Seq + dizzy is OK for starts, then swap to wasted spark.
Analogue inputs are up to 16 or 24 depending on hardware, but only a few are used at the moment.
That second photo is really nice :-)

Re: 1994 Rev3 Toyota 3sgte
Oh okay, Option #2 #3 are on 0.4 and 0.6 Jaguar different, so thought would there is only 1ignition driver on stock
That much Input, nice!
Yes extra stopped on a country road, to shoot it.
So here the engine, not the beautiful, but nice running. And the power for the time, 2Litre 1994 and 245Ps from Factory

Re: 1994 Rev3 Toyota 3sgte
Ahh. 0.4-alpha and 0.6-alpha are the same in that they both have 4 ignitor drivers. Both can only be setup to have 2 or 4. Both (I think) have 2 wired up stock and require 2 jumpered in. I had no idea you were talking about the population/buy options. The board itself has 4. Check here for IO capability and ADC inputs: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2212
