Your second to last post read very "gimme gimme" which may be why you got no response. 700kpa map sensors are non-ideal, I wouldn't use one.

Some other pictures
The RD28 stripped out of what I need, you can see here how corroded the block was, and there was some shears of metal on the oil pickup.
RD25DET getting ready to install the sump and engine mounts.
Comparing the rd28 bellhousing sheet, the camera prepesctive sucks I know, but the holes line up perfectly
This weekend I spent some time gutting the ECU, started to connect the jaguar 0.4, and lots of time labeling the cutted wiring and fuse box from the skyline.

Also do I get extra points If i tell you this place has no roof and the rd28 was extracted between 12pm - 4am while raining? :p
Re: "89 Nissan Patrol Y60
Yes you do! :-) Especially if you also tell us that you had no lighting and were working by the moon/stars.masterkorp wrote:Also do I get extra points If i tell you this place has no roof and the rd28 was extracted between 12pm - 4am while raining? :p

I wish i had this night, but the clouds covered it over, I only had a head lamp and some other LED magnetic thingie.
Nights can be pretty nice to work specially on the summer with moon glare over here.

Re: "89 Nissan Patrol Y60
Weirdest oil sump. Note: you need to take the flywheel and the bellhousing plate off to remove the last 4 10mm bolts.
Removed those plates and the stock oil pickup, then I used the r28 oil pickup modified, I streched it exactly 10 centimeters horizontaly.
This is the driver's side engine mount (Left hand drive), there is a an oil line, and sadly the AC compressor gets in the way of the mount (the rubber pice) just by like a 1mm, that sucks, I ordered an AC equiped one just to get onboard air working as easyly as possible, i might have to hack the mount of my old compressor on this mounting, as its much smaller than this one. With the AC compressor off you can just bend the oil line by hand and refit
The RD28 clucth and flywheel, yes that is big and heavy, i will look onto a machined one in the future.
Now fellow Skyline owners, would you care to give me a picture of the fuse cover, my fuse cover is missing, and one fuse, please would some care to give me a picture and the AMP of the missing fuse so I can start labeling the connections?
And that ECU is ready to be cut

I shall add this, this is the cleanest engine I ever worked on, man just the smell of that clean synthetic, really well looked after It seems, it had 46 thousand miles accorndingly to the seller and it sure seems like so.
