MAF - Haven't done enough research to know which one I should use with this sytem, but both are an option.

A MAF sensor input isn't supported by FreeEMS at this time.

I don't know what you're planning on doing with this, but I don't think you can use it as your trigger wheel unless you're planning on using throttle body injection.

Narrow and wideband o2 sensors.

I don't think narrow band sensors are supported, because they aren't very useful. I use this wideband controller.

Injectors (Two banks of 4, batch fire. Sequential eventually?)

Have you seen/read this? viewtopic.php?f=54&t=1084 I'd recommend semi-sequential for 8 cylinders.

I've read a little bit of their documentation, and it's pretty terrible in my opinion.

True, just log this for now, pretty easy to add support for, though.

Good point. Using that, you'll need to hack in yucky MS style untimed long injection batch/bank setup. Yuck. OR, inject 4x per revolution, which is doable, but only if your injector config is perfect. Otherwise it'll give you trouble too. Put a 12-1 16-1 20-1 24-1 on the crank and call it a day? 36-1 is usable too, but only to about 5k RPM at this time. Optimisations later will increase that by at least double likely more.

I'd recommend semi-sequential for 8 cylinders.

+1 very verbose to the point of losing you. Flaky in other areas. Misleading in others still.

I'm still going to plan for it in the system as a "nice to have", at least for datalogging. Who knows maybe I can help implement it (yeah right, don't think I'm THAT good)

Sorry, I meant I had a wideband controller that outputted both. Didn't know if NB would be useful, but that's easy to not use.

+1 on the RavAGE schematics, those are what the Jaguar board is based on

This assumes building a BDM first and fine pitch soldering, which a TA approach does not require.

Yes. I have spared board.
The quality may not as good as Andy's Silver circuits boards. But they are just useable.
Each cost around USD 4 from Shenzhen.
