Yep, I was, too many per page. Split it down somewhat now, and this one will push more onto next page :-p

From first post:

Same for the intake manifold.

When it's a problem controlling position using scroll bar on a typical laptop screen it's too much for one page irrespective of file size.

Right, now:

GREAT to see the intake, looks very pro, I'm surprised! :-)

Great to see progress, too! :-)

Hooray!

They look clean, but bolts look dirty, you DID use the correct longer bolts, right? If not, expect it all to exit through our sump ;-)

Fred.
What bolts are you talking about there?
All the bolts are in their original places.

Also hello all.
Well overdue for an update, I have some new pictures to share as the engine is in.
Which has lead to all sorts of new problems, lol.
Havent done dick with the ecu which really blows, work has taken over my life!
There are some projects which are coming to a close though and we're planning on trimming down the workload with a little luck.
Being down to one vehicle is proving a problem so the misses is on board for sure for getting this running, lol. Half the battle right?
Am having serious petrol withdrawals, yup, not getting out on the bike either! Oh the shame, the shame of it all!
Apparently going to the bank to see if we can scrounge up some credit for a house too... Wtf is going on in my life? Hahahaha.
Working again this weekend... Nights too... So perhaps the following weekend I'll have something to share instead of reasons why I'm not!

Keep up the good fight!

Bolts for braces are brace-thickness longer than normal brace-free bolts.

(and brace-free bolts are long enough to go in by a few turns and give false security)

Should be fine then.
A little like saying make sure you use bolts instead of bluetack ;)
It's all too late now anyway, bugger me if I'm going in to check! lol.

If they're the bolts that attached the braces to the engine before, it's fine.

STUCK!!!!!

Started to follow through with the windows instructions for Seans Loader but then I ran against something which looked to me like a stroke in ASCII.
looks like I could follow the linux instructions... but will i run linux just for this?
I've already spent a fucking tonne of cash and time on this..... hmmmm. lol.

So the conclusion, can a noob build a puma.
no.
no he cannot.

not without being unemployed.
