Are you running a dual pump setup with a surge tank? Or planning to foam fill? or going to use a sump under it or something? Or just keep it full all the time? Curious on your plans :-)

will be putting some more baffling in it around the pickup, the tank slopes downwards at the rear, and when I launch hard it should push fuel towards the pickup and prevent surging. should be no need for a surge tank, but may fit one if i find it is still surging. I doubt it will though.

be careful with baffling as they can keep fuel away from the pickup as well as near it. All they really do is reduce slosh.

Slosh is the enemy, though, and when you launch it will all go back, and then up the back wall, and down again, and so on.

Give me a skype tomorrow morning and I'll chat with you about fuel and oil systems :-) If you want. No pressure.

Fred.

all good mate, as I said, if it isnt that good at reducing 'slosh' I will go the surge tank route anywho.

Just finished welding it up too, should be cool to start fitting it and my $600 worth of hose and fittings tomorrow! :-)

well i just collected my proflow order.

They sent me everything I ordered EXCEPT for the god damn 1/2" aluminium hard line! Cant do sweet F-all without that.

I contacted VPW to inform them that they are retards, hopefully they wont be dicks about it and will sort it out. I have told the guy I dont have the hardline and he asked me to go through the whole order and mark off what I am missing. I did that, am only missing the hard line, tried calling him back twice, left two messages with his work mates to call me back.

They better not be shafting me on this...... Grrrrrr!
