I have 7 Jaguar 0.4-alpha boards for sale, currently they are bare boards as seen in this photo:
Image

The capabilities of this board for FreeEMS can be found in the README.md file in my Jaguar repository master branch on github:
https://github.com/DeuceEFI/Jaguar/blob ... /README.md
The full schematics and board layout are in my repository as well.

I don't recommend using the on-board MAP/AAP sensor pads without contacting me first so I can describe the modifications that have to be done to use the on-board MAP/AAP sensor since I made an error with the power, ground and signal traces to the pads (nothing a few razor blade cuts and some fine gauge wire routing couldn't fix).

I can sell them as bare boards or with a variety of kit / assembled options.
I generally ship USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation to USA addresses ($5.90 without the case).

Option #1: Bare Jaguar 0.4-alpha board, no frills, no components, just the printed circuit board. This option is $12.00 USD plus shipping from USA Zip Code 47433 (ask for a shipping quote if not in the USA).

Option #2: Jaguar 0.4-alpha board with SMD components installed, Serial Monitor installed, with USB to serial communications, with MAX9926 IC installed, with the 5vdc Power Supply over-voltage protection circuit installed, with 4 injector MOSFETs installed, with 1 Fuel Pump MOSFET installed and 1 TC4427 non-inverting ignitor driver installed. You will need to supply the supporting through hole capacitors, resistors, diodes, the MOV, the voltage regulators and the case/connector. I can provide you with a shortened BOM so you can order the remainder of the components from your favorite component vendor. No need to worry about needing a BDM to program the Serial Monitor program with this option, as I will make sure the USB communications are working after loading the Serial Monitor program so the LOAD jumper works for you like a TA board. You will be able to load FreeEMS firmware on this board as soon as you take it out of the package and build the power supplies. Once you purchase the remainder of the BOM and complete the build, you will have a board ready for 4 cylinder, wasted spark engine. You may purchase extra MOSFETs for the other 4 injector driver locations (for a total of 8 injector drivers) and/or the other 2 Low Side Driver locations from your component vendor if you wish. This option is $110.00 USD plus shipping from USA Zip Code 47433 (ask for a shipping quote if not in the USA).

Option #3: A Jaguar 0.4-alpha board with a kit of parts. You solder everything on the bare board, including all the SMD components and then you will need to program the Serial Monitor program onto the Freescale MCU with a BDM that you provide. This is for the hard-core DIYer who isn't afraid to hand solder SMD components like I do for the prototypes. This option gives you all 8 injector MOSFETs, all 3 Low Side Drivers (Fuel Pump MOSFET is one of these), 2 dual channel TC4427 non-inverting ignitor drivers along with all the I/O circuit through hole components. Basically you are getting every electronic component in the BOM, minus the MAP sensor, the AAP sensor, the case and the connectors. It is usually less expensive to buy the case locally or online yourself. Nothing is soldered to the board, it is truly a DIY project. This option is $220.00 USD plus shipping from USA Zip Code 47433 (ask for a shipping quote if not in the USA).

Option #4: This option gives you Option #2 plus all the parts (including the 4 additional injector and 2 additional Low Side Driver MOSFETs that you can easily hand solder on later) that are included in Option #3. No MAP or AAP sensor is included since the pads were mis-routed. You will need to install the through hole components to complete the circuits, but you will have the USB communications and microprocessor circuits already built and the Serial Monitor installed so that way you can load the firmware after removing the board from the package and building the power supplies. This option is $250.00 USD plus shipping from USA Zip Code 47433 (ask for a shipping quote if not in the USA).

Option #5: This is for those of you who want Option #2 with a few more SMD components already soldered on or if you want less than 4 injector MOSFETs. This can also be for those of you who only want the SMD components soldered to the board, then you add all the through hole components that you source yourself and then use a BDM to program the Serial Monitor to the Freescale MCU. If you would like Option #4, contact me directly for a quote based on what you want already soldered on your board.

For those of you who would like Option #1 or Option #3 and you do not already have a Background Debug Module (BDM), I have those for sale as well, they are $32.00 USD plus shipping, but the BDM is small enough that it can be included in the same shipping carton as Option #1 or Option #3, so there will be no additional shipping charge if purchased with those options. If you would like to purchase a BDM with Option #2, #4 or #5, I can also ship it in the same shipping carton as those kits to also save the additional shipping fee. My BDM is based on USBDM and additional information can be found at: http://www.coolefi.com/usbdm.php

essess, andg, TerrenceLP, johntramp and simis have expressed interest so far, so I have 5 "reserved" for them, so any additional inquiries will be handled on a first come, first served basis.

Here is a link for the enclosure (case) http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/th ... %22/Detail I used the 3008H-5B (black, plain ends) but you might like the 3008F-5B (black, flanged ends so you can mount it).

Also, like Fred mentions below, there is no on-board connector, I used fly leads to connect the board to a DB-37 male connector on both my A3 and my 0.4-alpha boards. I have my A2 board fly lead wired into a factory 1996 Chevrolet S10 ECU case so that it is plug and play.
END EDIT

Thank you,

Reserve another for a contact of mine, please. I'll let you know if this is whoa or go as soon as I find out myself. Likely option 3 or 4 possibly with a couple of spare SMD bits extra. Possibly one or two USBDMs too. Don't know yet.

You may want to link correct enclosure online and explain that they don't have a connector and need to be hooked up to suit the application (either in OEM case, or with fly wires to a bulkhead mount connector, etc).

Nice write up!

Fred.

Ok, Fred, I'll reserve one for your contact as well, so now we are down to 1 unclaimed board/kit. :-)

Quick update, AncientGeek (from IRC) has expressed interest in one as well.

I am interested in one board, if all 7 have not been claimed.

Depending on what happens, I could use the board I already have for the "contact" and just order a set of parts for it. So if I don't end up needing mine, it's yours. I guess Andy will hook me up with one from the next batch anyway, so no biggy there :-)

wow, I'll go ahead and drop my request. Looks like there are more people out there who would actually do something with it (well, more than I would do with it).

I'll jump on the next round.

****UPDATE****

Make that Option #4 - I was convinced in the convenience, My zip is 30101

****UPDATE****

Although not a true Hardware Guy, Option #2 looks good for me and my 7M-GTE!

Will this option offer me good flexibility to finalize for my build?

Main goal is to get on the car and start testing ASAP, but I don't mind building it so as to better understand the process and scheme of your projects direction. And as mention before, is Option #2 a good candidate for video documentation?

Thanks again!

I'll be ready Friday to execute. I haven't made up my mind between #2 and #4. Thanks Deuce!
