DIYEFI Nexus Down

Post by Fred »

Just FYI, if you're trying to build OLV from source, you'll have a hard time because the required nexus is down. I've had a look, but there's not a quick fix, sadly.

The real quick fix is to get your OLV from here: http://builds.freeems.org/

If you've already built it recently before the issue popped up, you can add '-o' for offline execution and it should build okay, too. But if you don't have the necessary parts, it'll just fail.

Bummer. I sent myself a reminder only a few hours ago to update my build docs. By "the required nexus is down", is it safe to assume you mean permanently?

False, it's not safe to assume permanently. I was just taking a look and I have some correlation, but no causation, yet:

Oh well, at least I have a clue now! Will try to figure out what broke it and get it sorted ASAP.

Double bummer, the server upgrade wasn't quite as seamless as it should have been. The builds.freeems.org OLV downloads page is currently down! I only found out because I wanted to grab the windows version for my wife's machine to test a high-res scaling theory. Oops. Working on a resolution now. XXOO

Fixed! For this one. Not sure what else is broken. Sigh.
