Fuel vaporizer?

Post by shameem »

Instead of using a high pressure fuel injection system - could a fuel vapor system be used?
An ultrasonic vapor chamber could help vaporize the fuel and then the vapors could be metered into the intake according to the (estimated) amount of air in there - this might take care of fuel atomization/spraying problems at the injector and might ensure an even mixture and "easy" combustion.

Its basically a hybrid/combination of the LPG system

Instead of LPG turning into gas and going to the engine - turn gasoline into vapor and push it into the engine......

Any thoughts....

Those LPG vapourisers are pretty slow and can lead to "accel enrich" issues. One of our members knows a lot about this, and it's not me. I'll link him here and he can tell you a bit about it and comment on your idea.
