No, you need to time your MAP readings to the crank shaft, and so do I :-) I'm working on it right now, actually, as it's becoming important.

Mabey a little bit of both....i belive it's hard to get stable readings with this kind'a small "intake manifold".

I'd avoid putting any lag between reality and your algorithms, if I were you ;-) if the engine is running at a stable RPM (which it will once tuned, and with stable airflow), then the pressure variance through the manifold will be consistent on each revolution. You just have to pick the correct time to read it to get a minimal value.
