Hello. I need help. In European ECU to control fuel injectors are used on the driver of Infinion, (Germany), such as TLE5216, TLE6220, TLE6230, TLE6240. This is typical. I have not seen the others. What kind of fuel injectors driver used in the U.S. ECU? I apologize for my english. Thank you.

Any FET with suitable current capacity (double the load) and voltage (50 - 100 with limit) and a suitable drive for your setup will work.

It's convenient to use stuff like the omnifet VNB/VNP/VND XXN(V)04/7 parts which are logic level drivable and virtually indestructible as well as capable of driving more injectors from a single unit than you would ever want to.

There are similar parts from other manufacturers too. Expect to pay 1 - 4 usd each depending on the feature set. Some are far less protected and far less bullet-proof than others.

In any ECU discrete components? No special drivers on 4 Channel with the diagnostics on the SPI? I use the STM32 with 3.3V logic. Possibly these FET will not work properly without a buffer or driver.

I think you'll find the gate threshold is low enough, however better results are obtained with a driver anyway. It's not overly critical. Just ensure the gate will be able to cause sufficient current to flow with 3.3v on it, and you'll be fine.

Freescale do some integrated setups, if you want to go that way. I prefer generic parts over vendor lock-in, though. The diagnostics are border line useless unless you're giving the car to your wife, and then only to flash a light on the dash that she'll ignore :-)
