Freescale 9S12C64 based bike ECU

Post by Fred »

I came across this while searching for something, I forget what, but here it is anyway, just for interest sake:

If it ever disappears, I cached it here: http://stuff.fredcooke.com/R125ECUfront.jpg

A few more pics in there :-)

Common themes:
  • Processors in back corner, opposite side to connector with high power drives
  • High power drives aligned to extend away from the connector, not across it
  • SMD drivers and/or vertically mounted reinforced to220 drivers
  • High power tubular SMD resistors
  • BDM connectors on the edge
  • Both sides heavily populated
