main issue I have dealt with the tail pipe sniffer is usually the output is wrong. Generally it will be leaner, but never a set amount because of the difference in piping under cars. I don't trust them. The chance is very high if its on any modded car that the output is wrong.

That's only going to be true if the exhaust has leaks or there is reversion. Which are you suggesting? Aside from a higher chance of those, you should expect a more honest reading as combustion is more complete further from the engine.
