Cool! :-) Way too heavy for this application, though, in general, or am I obsessed with chassis dynamics? Some good ideas, though. You could make a Three piece mold with thinner walls and a drain at the bottom, then line it with fibres of some sort and pour it full until it came out and then plug the end. Sadly, I'm tool free here, so anything of this nature will be a hell of a challenge without spending heaps on equipment.

That's a heavy process for just a case. Good thing I have a 3D printer for this. :D Much easier and quicker.
