One suggestion from Mike Mc who I used to work with :

When doing a functional release (0.1.0, 0.2.0, ... , 1.0.0, 2.0.0, ...) Give these a marketing name for people to remember rather than being confused by numbers. I think this is an excellent idea. It works well for all the major unix OS providers I can think of. How many times have you heard MS3 meaning MS2 on a V3 board and MS2 meaning MS1 on a v2.2 board etc... confusing at the best of times...

In the mean time though, the fun suffix style names can continue :-)

Prizes (imaginary ones) for the best entries!

Fred.

0.0.9 is called exponent after this album :

"Better Never Than Late"

Because I took ages to get this out :-)

Fingers crossed for another release with new functionality before easter is over :-)

0.0.10 is called squashed after the slater that was found tragically killed in our kitchen earlier today, also after the array index out of bounds bug found and removed from the code :-)

Release 0.0.11 shall be called cookin', thanks Rob for the idea :-)

More ideas people! The next one after that is likely to have something resembling ignition in it.

0.0.12 is called "bastard"

Why? you might say :

bastard is a burger
burger fuel make the bastard
burger fuel's motto is "bite and ignite"

...

Huston we have ignition! Well, nearly... :-)

Also, because of a silly mistake, PIT timing turned out to be a bastard to code ;-)

Menu :

Advert :
http://www.feedmenow.co.nz/venues/53/

History/franchise sales spin :
http://www.franchisebusiness.co.nz/Franchise/BurgerFuel

MAN I miss the bastard! :-(

Here they have two things that are close, but none that are close to me :
GBK and Giraffe

GBK is Kiwi run and London only. Giraffe has an awesome casual atmosphere. Neither are quite as good as a (half way down) dominion road bastard with kumara fries and a nice fresh Arano juice.

Suggestions for 0.0.13??

Fred.

Still looking for suggestions :-) ....

When you get something more akin to actually logging, I'd suggest the american-indian sounding "Rolls Down Stairs", from the log song....
