Call it "RICE", Racing Integrated Control Electronics. That was a name I used for a product that never made it to market.

So, define akin to logging, viewable in MLV? :-) I've been thinking about a way to do this, so may actually put it into practice. The time would be better spent on almost anything else though...

RICE would clearly require some clear tail lights, a cannon muffler, and a silly wing. I'm not sure how to implement those in C ;-)

Sure, or just more logging, more flexible, etc etc.

MLV has one nice feature: real time follower. It's a little cumbersome, but it's a lot better than staring at the gauges.

Is there a thread yet on the new software from that guy?

,time passes,

I can't find it anywhere in my email!! Damnit. Well, it's Philip Tobin's software, the guy who wrote MLV. He has a megatune-ish replacement.

Pick rivers in northern England? Intel uses rivers in the Pacific North West. Mountains? Porn Stars, though I do not know what those would be nor how you would traverse them (east to west, or north to south). Mens' Magazines? Car Magazines? Defunct automobile companies? How about the Studebaker, Auburn? Stutz?, Chevrolet (oh, they are still making those, aren't they)... Maybe after bond movies. First Release 'Casino Royale'.

Cheers :-)

Rob and I were discussing offline and the topic turned from structure to temperature and I came up with "entropy".

entropy = "a measure of the unavailability of a system’s energy to do work"

Which I thought was perfect :-)

PUN on temperature measurement, physics/math, organisation and literal inability of it to do anything useful :-)

Done deal.

The next one should be mathematical as it will most likely have some proper math in it. Or maybe some flash burning? Or maybe some solid serial comms?

Keep thinking!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enthalpy

For the first one that behaves somewhat like a useful system with flash, serial, and workingish ign/fuel/rpm/position reading.

What do you think? Goes nicely with Entropy doesn't it :-)

OK, due to a total lack of recent and relevant suggestions, I've had to come up with something for todays release myself :

Avogadro

Because this release embodies working functionality of the ideal gas laws required for speed density calculations. Fitting I think.

Thoughts for the next one? It may have some of :
  • better wheel code
  • better rpm code
  • better scheduling code
  • better math/input/config code
  • better serial code
  • flash burn code
  • generally tidied up code in all areas
  • etc
Suggestions?
