Need a friend in the EU to buy and ship me dealership parts.

I think this is the right forum subsection for this. Didn't seem like it belonged in the Buy/Sell section.

BMW has decided to stop shipping the rotors I need for my car to BMW parts dealers in the US. They are still available in the European Union as far as I know. I need a helping hand if someone wants to buy some parts for me and ship them out to me.

The BMW part numberss in question are:

34112227737 (OEM Euro E36 M3 2-piece Brake Rotor, front left)
34112227738 (OEM Euro E36 M3 2-piece Brake Rotor, front right)

It should be a simple matter of finding them for sale on your favorite/cheap OEM parts dealer, or if you must, you can get them from the parts counter at the BMW dealership, but they will probably be pricey and that's a hassle. If you can find them online, I can pay for them maybe from here on the web site too?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hey Ben,

they're easy to get and reasonably cheap here in Germany. Which brand would you like? Brembo, Ferodo, ATE, original BMW or the cheapest one can get?

Brembo is about 75€ for the left and 67€ for the right rotor.
Sounds fair to me, but I could look for cheaper ones, if you want.

Greets,
Stefan

I'd be looking for Original BMW. They are made by Zimmermann I believe.

I have a couple more sources here that I'm going to try and then I'll let you know. Thank you very, very much.

Okay I take that back. Zimmermann does NOT make the original equipment rotors.

The plot thickens... Zimmermann MAY have made the OEM rotors... =/

Either way, I don't think it matters for this discussion since you can get OEM rotors pretty easily. You don't need to know who made them.

I might have found some available in the US, so we'll see.
