Industrial O2 Sensor

Post by Dan »

Thought this might interest some people . . . . . the O2 sensors we use in our flue gas ducts here at work. (same technology as automotive sensors using zirconia cells, etc)

Nice!
Do you have more specs, like manufacturer etc.?
I would like to know if it's heated and what % of O2 it can measure.
And pricing would be interesting too, of course :)

I have an application where I could use one of these and funny enough, have been googling for non-automotive O2 sensors a few days ago.
If you also know some alternative brands/types, that would be mostly appreciated info too.

Thanks for posting!

Greets,
Stefan

you will need the analyser too though, and yes they are expensive! but very very reliable.

From the datasheet - measuring range is 0 - 21 Vol % O2 and the accuracy is +/- 0.1 Vol % O2 (after calibration obviously).

EDIT: these probes utilise a vacuum pump (not shown in my photos) to draw a sample up through a sample tube, across the sensor and out again to take a reading. (they are installed directly in the flue here at work and are very very good at what they do).

Nice, I bet they keep a super steady temperature, and are therefore quite accurate too.
