The quoted freight was $380 USD to be precise.
I think we can do a little better.

Width 10 inch, common anode, red 5v.

each costed USD 15 and shipping to my office is USD 1.5 each

will get the datasheet tomorrow.
Thanks for the help KennyBug, but I really need them to be bigger than 10 inch.

I prefer 20 inch if possible please mate! But those prices of $15USD each are very very attractive.
From the same seller, she only got 10, 12 ,16 and 20 inches in width.

10 inch is 120 rmb
12 inch is 145 rmb
16 inch is 260 rmb
20 inch is 520 rmb each

12 inch is the most cost effective.

Today is china public holiday (dragon boat festival). The online shop is not open. Will get more information by monday.

Euro cup is good, I didnt got enough sleep at night. FreeEMS project put on halt
Got no mood to work in office & took nap on office desk after lunch :lol2:

Are you guys on the same page? Dan was talking height, you said width, typo? I imagine 12 wide would be about 20 high for a 7 seg display. Please clarify with each other and/or provide both dimensions :-)

I require digits that are 20 inches tall which are commonly 12 inches wide.

EDIT: the actual PCB for a 20 inch digit measures bigger, at 550mm tall x 350mm wide.

At a minimum. I have also found 30 inch tall ones which are pretty damn impressive also. :-)

johntramp: hmmm I had not seen that?

I have access to a CNC that normally cuts timber and perspex sheets.

I could use the same method, but in a more professional manner with the CNC and probably get better results?

Thoughts?

I would go with the Chinese ones. Much quicker and easier, possibly still cheaper too. IMO.
