I actually ran into that about a year ago, sorry for the delay. If you change the illustration it changes the schematic too right ;)

Classic :
Mark wrote:The best way to deal with fuel and spark control are already worked out for us and in the canned eTPU functions so all we need to do is supply the correct inputs. The fuel function is looking for a couple thing namely an injection time table in load vs rpm format and an injector dead time.
Accompanied by a statement that WE weren't listening :-)

The sad part is that he has others involved in this. On the other hand, they chose to follow him even after what was said here.

But I forgot, he has the magical eTPU...

I don't think I have to explain the concept of signal-to-noise ratio on this forum.
I've got this thing against giant forum signatures.

Fred may recall a bout I had with the e30tech crew a while back on this subject.
In protest I put up a 2000 x 3000 pixel (or similar) signature that got a lot of the wrong/right type of attention.
Well I told them I'd be back with a new one if things didn't straighten up.

I read through a thread today with so much signature and almost no content it was the last straw.
Check out this thread.

I chime in on post #216 and 217.

LOL Nice work Ben! Yeah, those guys take it too far, I think it's just the "I've got a beemer, thus I am cool and must display my vehicle at ALL times" attitude that does it. I saved the thread this time because you lost the last one...

http://www.sr20-forum.com/general-sr20/ ... stion.html

Cliff notes: Guy wants to know if the head bolts from a SR20DET (turbo Nissan engine) are any stronger than from the SR20DE (same engine but no turbo). They aren't and people say so. One guy mentions that the main cap bolts from the GTi-R SR20DET (freak engine) are stronger, sort of as an aside, but he makes sure to bold the words "main cap" so the original poster wouldn't get confused.

Facepalm moment ensues.
