What a grade-A wanker! And too cowardly to post it in his own name... Lance, if/when you read this, get a life man, get a life...

FORBIDEN!
edit: Ah, copy-paste URL.

Wow. That's um.. pretty exciting. That's a banner ad for what we are doing here. The idea of not making it easy and helping someone who's doing something cool sits so incredibly wrong with me.. <shiver>... Wow.

I'd probably raise a stink if I didn't kinda have it in for auto transes anyway. :-P

Um, perhaps we should copy that thread here, and let it "expire" there.

There's a certain amount of reason there. Then see if anyone on the other board would help cover the costs of keeping this board up. :-)

Don't you worry ;-) You'd be surprised at the number of deleted threads I have saved locally :-) I have a habit of being involved in such threads, I'm not sure why. One day I might do a page with a bunch of interesting threads linked to from it. For now though I'll focus on getting stuff done.

.. a new version and needs to be loaded through the JTAG port because there is no serial connection to the sequencer cpu.
.. you can return the sequencer and I will reprogram and send it back.

I wonder if this means closed source for the sequencer? Perhaps they are trying to stop fraud this time? Otherwise it would have been trivial to let the CPU pins (buffered or not) for a SCI channel be exposed through the connector or just off the board on a header.

Fred.

ps, how long have you known about that anon thing? Thanks for sharing :-)

What's funny is that he talks about a JTAG port but it's a BDM port. The JTAG port is for the CPLD. And the SCI pins on the CPU are actually used for injector outputs (according to the schematics).
