^ This is the trouble with MegaSquirt, you enter with such high hopes that it really does take you a long time to realise that they're clueless. It took me a long time too. Periods of 4+ years are common for the realisation to sink in properly. Sad but true. Likely the reason is that it's "almost great" in every way. But it's not actually great in any way, sadly.

The easiest nut to tighten is the one inbetween the seat and the gas petal. -My dad complaining about my vehicles always needing worked on.
