Following on from the wheel fetish thread I thought it's about time that I catalogued my engine collection, too!

Where do I start! Let's see.

The cars!

11 cars, each of which have an engine in them right now:

  1. 61 bug 1500 single port
  2. 54 bug 1500 single port
  3. Hotel 2000 4G63 SOHC 8v
  4. Ute 2000 FE-DOHC + Turbo etc
  5. Lantis 2000 KF-ZE V6
  6. 240 Wagon 2300 B230F
  7. 740 Sedan 2300 B234F
  8. Suzuki 1000 K10A Turbo
  9. 240 Sedan 2300 B230K (bad, knocking)
  10. Stagea 2500 RB25DE Neo
  11. KP60 1300 4K :-D

In the shed...

  1. Volvo 2300 B234F (good)
  2. Mazda 2500 KL-ZE (good)
  3. Nissan 3000 RB30E (good)
  4. Toyota 1600 4AGE Blacktop (smoky)
  5. Toyota 1600 4AGE Blacktop (damaged crank nose)
  6. Toyota 1600 4AGE Blacktop (holy block/rod faillure)
  7. Mazda 1800 F8-DOHC (good)

Model engines:

  1. Many small diesels
  2. Many small methanol glow engines

Partials:

  1. Volvo 2300 B230F (bottom end only)
  2. Toyota 1600 4AGE (block only)
  3. Mazda 2000 FE-DOHC (head only)
  4. Mazda 2000 FE-DOHC (head only)

I'll try to add a photo of each here at some point so you can get a feel for how they all look :-) Then I'll unlock the thread for comment and bump it.

Missing, wanted, dead or alive:

  1. V12 (max cylinders) (BMW, Toyota, Jaguar)
  2. V10 (Viper? BMW?) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V10_engine#Examples
  3. V8 (1UZ-FE or Nissan)
  4. Rotary
  5. Radial
  6. 5 cylinder
  7. 3 cylinder
  8. Twin
  9. Single
  10. Max RPM
  11. VTEC, yo
  12. Diesel turbo
  13. Quad VVT (Nissan V6? Volvo V8?)

What a greedy bastard :-D I've already got around 30 engines all up! 18 complete full size ones, plus 2 total parts, plus ~10 model engines.
