Perhaps it will be possible to reuse some of their code or even just patch in our protocol and use the software outright?

wasn't it the owner of this forum/project that honda was trying to sue not so long ago?

Not honda, rather hondata who themselves would be open for a hammering from honda if they ever bothered :-)

Dave Blundel. I hope he finds this and gets interested. I know he was looking at working on VEMS at one point...
