Re: Neil's belated and painfully slow 0.4 alpha build
wasted long weekend from hell... sick from a spider bite... and my freescale map sensor is dead! It just outputs about 4.5v constant. Input 5v and ground seem fine. The AAP is fine. Can't understand it last changes I made were the 12V-OUTPUT and ground as discussed above, and that works. And I had t...

Re: Neil's belated and painfully slow 0.4 alpha build
Thank you prishta.
I'd like to share with you a revelation I had during my time here, Mr Anderson.
It came to me when I tried to classify the Jag inputs and outputs.
I realised that 12V-OUTPUT is not actually an output but an input for the outputs!

Re: Jag for EDIS thread
My comments about r19 were based on the 0.4 notes dated 16 Feb 2013. I didn't think of looking at the 0.6 schematics, duh.
I see the comment about not installing R19 and R16 has been removed in the later version.
Also it no longer says RPM-0- should be left disconnected. Makes lot more sense now.

Jag for EDIS thread
I'm looking at a 0.4 alpha build so some things may be different to the 0.6 The edis input is a 12v hall type signal. Looking at the schematic notes : R19 should not be used for edis but on the same schematic it says R19 should be 1K for Hall, 10k for VR. RPM0-IN- should not be connected for edis so...

Re: Masterkorp's Jaguar 0.4 alpha build.
Coincidentally I've just been working with those. That one is fine for the AAP. For boosted MAP you want something like a MPXA4250AC6U which is what I used despite not planing to boost anytime soon.
Read up on the necessary trace cuts and patches before soldering those in.

Re: Neil's belated and painfully slow 0.4 alpha build
Thanks for moral support Pishta, a bit of progress after being distracted by business travel and a reluctant wide band. Tested serial access, verified logging, stopped and restarted logging, requested firmware version (benchtest), that sort of thing. BRV, IAT, and AAT circuits built. The latter 2 re...
