Change in git address, if you build from source, PLEASE READ
EMStudio is moving from being a single application, to being a suite of applications (Three). To go along with this, the application we now know as EMStudio will be renamed EMSTune (Engine Management Studio Tune). As such, the github address has now changed. The main github page is now https://githu...

Re: Good non surface mount MOSFET to drive injectors?
Thanks, I <3 more information. From what I gather, the 25yo ecu can detect a "sync" to cylinder 1 because it can measure the "smaller" tooth out hf the 6 of the teeth. I understand the firmware must be written to accomplish this task, and I have no problem having a go at it. Oh ...

Re: Good non surface mount MOSFET to drive injectors?
Actually, I am very curious about the idea that it cannot work currently. Is it a code or hardware problem? I am not very knowledgeable as to exactly what is wrong with the signal it provides. I ordered the ecu board already, and it should arrive soon. I will fix it, because i am certain if a 25+ y...

Re: non smd fet drivers?
FIND ME ONE. I SPEND DAYS SEARCHING Typing in all caps is generally considered yelling, and should be avoided much like needless yelling in person That being said, 30 seconds of googling the part number (VNP14NV04-E) got me this: http://uk.farnell.com/stmicroelectronics/vnp14nv04-e/mosfet-omnifetii...

Dan:
Build instructions are here: https://github.com/malcom2073/emstudio/ ... /README.md from the looks of the error you missed a step
But as Fred said, use binaries from http://mikesshop/net/EMStudio unless you have a specific reason not to, and if so, let me know so I can fix that

FreeEMS Hardware Datalogger
Ok so hardware is a bit of a stretch, it's actually running a stripped down version of EMStudo on an ARM based computer with Ubuntu. Re: Jaguar 0.6-alpha Assembly Guide
Mike, I got the driver from the link Andy posted a few pages ago. It is for 32 bit, as he stated, but when queried in device manager it claims to be operating properly. I tried uninstalling the driver and re-installing using Zadig but Windows appears to over-ride it and install a driver from wherev...

Re: Jaguar 0.6-alpha Assembly Guide
Mike, I got into the advanced settings for the com port but it appears to be different than what I expected. There is a checked box "Use FIFO buffers requires 16550 compatible UART" There is a slider for RCV and one for TCX buffers. RCV is 0-14set at 14. TX is 0-15 set at 15. Also, com3, ...

Re: Jaguar 0.6-alpha Assembly Guide
Robert: It's possible that your FTDI com port settings are messed up. try this (Thanks to DeuceEFI for the writeup, I've modified it to be a bit easier to follow.) To change the COM port RX/TX buffer setting: * Open the System Control Panel * Find and open Device Manager * Find COM and LPT Ports, an...

Robert, Is there nothing in the applogs folder? It looks like you sent me the logs folder instead. As for the latest version, you can download the latest version from my build server at http://mikesshop.net/EMStudio/, you want the dev 64bit build: http://platypus.7g.fi/EMStudio/EMStudioInstaller.amd...
