Next time I'm at my Fathers shop, I'll snap a few shots of the one that's over there. they're pretty large, fitting one in a tight space would be difficult. They are a nice design though.

Yeah, whatever coating was used on this downpipe had etched itself into the metal. When I was learning to weld, I tried welding aluminum DC- just to see what would happen. Welding this downpipe back together was like that. I need a larger workspace, those who have seen the current "shop" k...

I learned a good lesson that night about welding on parts that have been plastered with a high temp rattle can.

Same here in SD, every time I visit the local rat shack their drawers have less than they had on the last visit. Parts are just thrown everywhere so you have to go looking throught every drawer to find something. Digikey has been getting all of my business lately. I just wait until I rack up a >$25 ...
